New Things for The Rothwells & Rothwell Photography!

Hey Everyone!

Thank you so much for you stopping by our blog! Whether you are a first time blog veiwer or you come every day, we really appreciate that you've come!
Tim and I have many hopes of making great changes for 2009 and beyond! First, in order to begin these changes we had to make one great big change and that is Tim leaving his position as Manager at Dynamic Aviation to work at home and abroad with me doing photography! To say the least we are ecstatic about this change! Not only does it mean that we will see each other more but it also means that we will be able to offer all our wonderful clients the best possible service! We've been trying but due to working 100 plus hours every week we have begun to wear down! But as of the end of this month Tim will be coming home! Please celebrate with us as we are very excited!
We have many changes that we hope to implement this year! As we do we will be sharing them with you! Here's our first big change...Our new Blog!!!
We want to give a shout out to Jeff our amazing blog designer! Thank you so much for your patience with us and for capturing our vision so well! You went above and beyond and we are so grateful to you!

NEW LOOK!

After many hours and alot of hardwork my wife and I are happy to un-veil some of our latest work and what will eventually become the new look of Rothwell Photography. My wife and I have always had a love for a classical and vintage mix in our work. We have atlast put together a number of different vintage/black and white looks, and we will be showing just a few here to see what everyone thinks. We are both incredibly passionate about developing a look that is uniquely Rothwell Photography.
We are so happy to have used some shots from our most recent gig with Dana and Otto. We feel the look these two bring only further emphasizes this new vision. Please write in and let us know what you all think as we will from here on out begin implementing this new look in our future weddings and shoots!

Rebekah & William - Engagement Shot for the paper!

Rebekah and William are getting married this summer and we are doing their full engagement session Harley and all in April but they needed a shot for the paper! So here they are! Thanks guys for stopping by this afternoon! It was great to see you! I hope that you like one of these for the paper! :) We are looking forward to your full shoot in April! Hopfully the sun won't be blinding you then! :)

The sun was so bright in their eyes in the picture above and Rebekah had closed her eyes to rest them and I think she looks so happy & beautiful!

I had to include these two shots just so you could see the blue sky. This was not enhanced in photo shop at all!

Dana & Otto - Engagement Teaser

Wow...what a cold day for a shoot(24 degree's and windy). Dana and Otto were troopers in spite of the bitter cold, and we simply had a blast photographing them for almost three hours and most of the time they didn't have a coat on...well especially Otto, hats off to you! We are absolutely in love with their pics...hope you guys are too. We can't wait to see you both in March! We'll be showing you more of this incredible shoot hopefully in the next day or two when we announce the new Rothwell Photography blog! Stay tuned! And thanks again guys for a great day! You are both amazing people!

Tabitha + One

My gorgeous friend Tabitha is expecting a little girl this April! I was so thrilled to spend the afternoon drinking tea and watching Annya & Tabitha's son Jude play together! And at the end we took some time to get these shots of this beautiful mommy and her precious belly which is growing the life of little girl Lookabill! Thank you for letting me capture you and all your beauty! You really are stunning pregnant! I LOVE your eyes...they are captivating! God bless you and your growing family!

A Princess + A Firefighter = A Love Story

Hey everyone! I'm so sorry that I have taken so long to post. Life has been so crazy that most of the time we feel that our heads are on a separate planet then our bodies. Anyway, here we are and we'd like to announce the winner of our competition! Hands down it's the gorgeous Stephanie and her sweet Fiancee Zach! Congrats guys! I will be sharing their sweet story soon! But as for your prizes here's what's in store! We would like to gift you with a "Day After Session" no this is not the day after your wedding...don't worry Zach we won't keep you from your honeymoon! :) This is a time at some point after your wedding to get dressed up in your gown and go to a special location of your choice and have a fun shoot doing things that we didn't get to do on the wedding day! And then we're going to put together a very special slide show with a collection of your engagement, wedding, bridal, & day after session pictures. These will be put to a song or songs of your choice! We will share this with everyone on the blog once it is finished! Probably late summer early fall depending on when we do the "Day After" session! Congrats to you both for a spectacular and sweet love story!

Cheers to everyone and to all those madly in love, don't you ever stop loving the special person in your life! Love is a choice but it's the greatest of gifts so keep giving it!

Your Love Story

Hey Everyone! As promised we are doing another contest for you all to participate in! This time clients, blog followers, clients to be, and anyone else who wants to participate can! Here's what we'll be doing...

We would like to hear your love story. Please e-mail us your special story of how you met & fell in love with your future spouse or if you are already married tell us your story as you can win too. We want to hear about what makes your relationship so special. Write from your heart. I'm not going to give you any rules or specifics just make it beautiful! :) An engaged & married couple will both win a special photo session to celebrate their love as well as a few other goodies! :) The two winning stories will be shared on the blog!
